Here's a tattoo that was a joy to do. If you have ever seen the movie Human Centipede there is no explanation necessary. If you haven't Google it.

gary gygax tattoo ( futurama)

This tattoo killed 3 birds with one stone. Jacob wanted a tattoo of Gary Gygax (creator of Dungeons and Dragons,) a d20 and a Futurama tattoo. Well since Gary Gygax has made guest appearances on Futurama we were able to combine all three things into this bad boy.

beholder tattoo 2 ( futurama )

Here is another beholder tattoo. This one is from the tv show Futurama.

cheshire cat tattoo

Here's a tattoo I did on Rachel of the Cheshire Cat from Disney's animated Alice in Wonderland movie.

leslie hall

Here is a small illustration I did of the internet sensation and gem sweater extraordinaire Leslie Hall. I attended her concert at the Brass Rail here in Ft. Wayne on Sept. 11 2010. After the show I met Leslie and gave this to her in person. I think she may have been just as excited as I as was.

houdini

Here is another piece I did for Device's open house. This one is entitled "Rosebelle Belong: Harry Houdini." Watercolor and ink. I really have been honing in my skills on doing portraits. I am basically using these studies as a tool to figure out a traditional way of doing portraits for tattoos while having fun in the process. This illustration is still hanging at Device Tattoo & Gallery and is for sale for $100. Limited edition prints available. Email me at fett.design@yahoo.com for details.

cayce

Here is a piece I did for Device's Art Shop Open House on Aug.13 2010. It is entitled "We Are Through: Edgar Cayce." Watercolor and ink. If you don't know much about Cayce he was a very prolific American psychic. It is still on display and for sale at Device Tattoo & Gallery for $100 framed. I also have some limited edition prints available. If interested email me for details at fett.design@yahoo.com.

bonsai tree tattoo

Here's a tattoo I built on Antonio. He came in and wanted to look through some drawings I've done for tattoos but never had the opportunity to actually tattoo on anyone. We found this in a pile of old drawings and he was excited about it so we put it on him. I'm always stoked to be able to something like this.

Another D&D tattoo I built. It is on Jacob, Device's body piercer and the resident Dungeon Master. Next time you stop in to Device be sure to ask him about his red dragon we slaughtered!

microphone tattoo

I built this tattoo in June 2010 on a good friend of mine's little brother. They are both musicians. Thanks Terry and Landon

roses and lettering tattoo

This is a tattoo I built on Faith in July 2010. Flowers are one of my favorite subject matters to tattoo.

quidditch tattoo

Here is a tattoo of a golden snitch that I did in July 2010 on Nick. I also did an illustration study before doing the tattoo. I didn't realize the snitch's wings were different in the books and the movies. The study I did had wings like in the movies but for his tattoo Nick wanted the wings the snitch had from the books. Either way it was a fun tattoo to do.

coop devil tattoo

Here is a tattoo I did a few years ago. It is flash from a Coop set. I prefer to do custom tattoos but sometimes it's fun to do a piece of well known flash.

"a concussion is no laughing matter"

Here's a watercolor and ink illustration entitled " a concussion is no laughing matter." For some reason in Spring 2010 I had the uncontrollable urge to paint clowns and mimes. This is one of the results. This piece will hang in the Continuum Art Gallery from July 30, 2010 to Sept. 3rd 2010. The gallery is located at 125 W. Wayne St. in Ft. Wayne, next to J. K. O'Donell's.

" the mime"

Watercolor and ink illustration of a mime. Spring 2010. The banner intentionally doesn't say anything because neither would a mime. 8 x 10, framed, $75.

light bulb tattoo

This is a prime example of what happens when boredom sets in at a tattoo studio. Winter 2009 I built this tattoo on Jacob, the piercer at Device tattoo. This took me about an hour.

sailor jerry lady tattoo

Here is a tattoo I did on Rachel from some Sailor Jerry flash. She requested a few changes to suit her taste. Always a pleasure working with anything from Sailor Jerry.

black sheep tattoo

Here's a tattoo I did of a black sheep with dreadlocks. This one is also on Lucas (who also has dreadlocks.)

"the nook"

Here is a watercolor and ink illustration I made to hang on consignment at the Copper Cup coffee shop in Hamilton, IN. Summer 2010. Still for sale, 8x10, framed $60.

small rose tattoo

Here's a little traditional tattoo I did shortly after coming to Device in May 2009. Thanks Rachel for following me to Device.

tea cup tattoo

Ryan loves his tea and now he loves his tattoo. I like the way the cup and saucer seem to be hovering as though if controlled by telekinesis. Such a fun tattoo to do.

circuit board tattoo

Here's a tattoo of some computer circuits I did on Matt. There is a pink ribbon wire in memory of his wife which he lost to breast cancer. Was a pleasure to do this and he is thrilled to be wearing it.

Green is the new red.

Here's a watercolor and ink illustration I made about the "green" movement. Painted this in March 2010. 8x10.

d20 tattoo, dungeons & dragons

Here's a tattoo of a d20 I did fall of 2009. I love D&D so this was a fun one to do, one of my favorites. Thanks Lucas
